The Project Coordinator Internship at the Center for Health Research (CHR) is designed to equip young professionals with the essential skills needed to manage, organize, and execute health research projects effectively. This internship is offered in a fully online mode, making it accessible to candidates across India and beyond. Depending on your availability, you can choose a three-month full-time program (15,000 INR), a six-month part-time program (25,000 INR), or a custom duration that suits your academic or professional commitments.
As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will support and contribute to the research operations and logistics of health research projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling (work breakdown structure, timelines, milestones)
- Coordinate tasks between multidisciplinary teams (research, data, quality, administration)
- Track progress, timelines, deliverables, and resource utilization
- Prepare regular status reports and dashboards
- Assist in documentation: meeting minutes, SOPs, reports, protocol drafts
- Support communication with external collaborators, ethics boards, and vendors
- Help with project risk management and mitigation planning
- Quality check of deliverables, follow-ups, and escalation management
This internship emphasizes professional development in research methodology, project execution, and exposure to collaborative scientific environments.
We welcome applications from candidates who meet most of the following:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students (or recent graduates) in Life Sciences, Public Health, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields
- Exposure to research protocols and foundations of health research
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of research workflows and scientific documentation
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students (or recent graduates) in Life Sciences, Public Health, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail
